Hello and welcome! I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with several years of experience providing mental health care in inpatient, outpatient, and residential settings. My passion for mental health care comes from both my professional experiences and a personal understanding of how important it is for patients to feel heard, respected, and valued.

My nursing journey began at Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing. I later earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern New Hampshire University and my Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University, where I completed my advanced training as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Personal experiences within my own family have also shaped the provider I strive to be and strengthened my commitment to careful assessment, active listening, and individualized care. I believe every patient deserves to be treated as a unique person, not simply a diagnosis or list of symptoms.

 

At New Horizons Mental Health, I believe treatment works best when patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns, understand their treatment options, and have an active voice in decisions about their care.
